Principal's Message
Hello and Welcome Eagles to PS 152, The Evergreen School
Welcome Back Families to our amazing Homecoming School year!! We have missed our students and look forward to welcoming them back to in person learning, while keeping Safety for all as our number one priority.
Our goal is to have our students get acclimated back into the school community safely and effectively. We will begin a new Social and Emotional Learning program to allow students to express how they feel and who they are. This will allow students to feel safe and welcomed in their school environment.
Our Chancellor’s goals this year is to offer a welcoming and safe environment for our students while offering rigorous instruction with high expectations. Here at 152 we put forth our all, to ensure all the needs of our families and students, are met.
We will offer rigorous instruction every day in every classroom. Students will utilize a multitude of curriculum in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. We will also continue to utilize our Google Classroom for days when school is closed such as Election Day or a Snow Day.
I am proud and honored to be the Principal of PS 152! We are a school that believes in educating the whole child through a rich academic environment. Our students are taught to respect themselves, their peers and all adults. We aim to build a love for learning through rigorous, differentiated activities.
My staff and I strive to give our students a safe and rich learning environment where we build the love of learning. It is our intent for students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We have high expectations and believe that they can be met through hard work and perseverance. We are here to serve our students, parents, and community to the best of our abilities. Our doors are always open. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our teachers, counselors, and administrators at any time.
I am proud of our school and the education we provide. It is my mission to do everything in my power to make sure that every child feels safe, respected, happy, successful and proud of who they are.

NYC SAVE FOR COLLEGE/CUENTA DE AHORROS
The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program is a scholarship and savings program that supports the college and career futures of NYC public school students— regardless of family income or immigration status.
In partnership with our nonprofit partner, NYC Kids RISE(Open external link), through the Save for College Program, every kindergarten student enrolled in participating NYC public schools (including participating charter schools) automatically receives a NYC Scholarship Account with an initial $100 allocation on their behalf, unless their parents/guardians choose not to participate by “opting out.”
Who is qualified for this program?
Kindergarten, first, second and third grade students who:
- enrolled during the 2024-25 academic year, and
- are enrolled in a NYC Public School, including participating charter schools
Parents and guardians of kindergartners, and other eligible students who are new to the Save for College Program this school year, will be able to activate and view their child’s NYC Scholarship Account starting in January 2025.

El programa de ahorro para la universidad NYC Kids RISE es un programa de becas y ahorros que apoya el futuro universitario y profesional de los estudiantes de las escuelas públicas de la Ciudad de Nueva York, independientemente del ingreso familiar o el estado migratorio.
En asociación con nuestro socio sin fines de lucro, NYC Kids RISE(Abrir enlace externo), a través del Programa Save for College, cada estudiante de jardín de infantes inscripto en las escuelas públicas participantes de la Ciudad de Nueva York (incluidas las escuelas charter participantes) recibe automáticamente una Cuenta de Becas de la Ciudad de Nueva York con una asignación inicial de $100 en su nombre, a menos que sus padres o tutores elijan no participar "optando por no participar".
¿Quién está calificado para este programa?
